Lake Almanor
We drove up to Lake Almanor and Lassen Park. It was more of an adventure and exploration for future visits and possible camping than swimming in the lake. But, we had plenty of fun discovering a new spot. We ate at a secluded camping “resort,” Mill Creek. They rent houses, cabins, and camping spots, and they serve delicious food.
Mt. Lassen
Random notes of interest: Lake Almanor is a man made lake. It was named after the creator’s daughters: Alice, Mary, and Eleanor. Also, Lassen is a volcano, which I just think is cool:)
